Yarn and Thread

Yarn and thread are often the basis of textile handicrafts and the Viking age is not an exception. Here you find yarn and thread in linen and wool for hand-sewing, nalbinding, embroideries, tablet weaving, cording and braiding – every handicraft described in our booklets and some more. Our yarns are always in natural colours or plant dyed by us and selected for their similarity with finds.
